  11. I have just installed NetBSD V1.0 and X11R6 on my A4000. My system consists
  12. of the following hardware.

  14. A4000 with WarpEngine040 33Mhz.
  15. 4MB fast ram on WarpEngine
  16. 2MB Fast rem on motherboard
  17. 2MB Chip RAM
  18. 1GB Fujitsu SCSI Hard Disk

  20. First of all when I start the X server I get the X mouse pointer and the X background.
  21. I can move my mouse for about a minute, then my system locks up. I am wondering
  22. if my system can see my swap partition. What can I type to show me that the
  23. system sees my swap partition.

  25. Also, when I start NetBSD I get a message that it sees the 4MB fast ram on my
  26. Warp Engine and the 2MB chip ram, but it does not see the 2MB fast ram on the
  27. motherboard. Do I have to force the kernel to see this ram address. Note, I am
  28. still using the Generic kernal that came with NetBSD 1.0.
